When the Taliban were in power in Afghanistan, education for girls was taboo. Public support for the education of both girls and boys is increasing, but the new government lacks adequate resources. With some funding from OGHS, the women-led organization Shuhada is administering some schools, providing teachers’ training and support, books, and equipment. With your help, girls and boys are getting the education they so desperately need to be part of the next generation of leaders in Afghanistan.
