Like so many children, this girl’ life was changed forever by the Indian Ocean tsunami. The emotional and psychological trauma experienced by survivors--especially women and children--can be overwhelming. OGHS funds are helping to provide psychosocial support and child development programs, including recreational materials and activities, and helping to build 36 children’s centers. With these resources, children are finding ways to regain part of what they lost in the tsunami.
