A young farmer heads to the field in a resettlement community for families displaced by Angola’s civil war. OGHS funding is helping ex-combatants, resettled families, and other vulnerable members of the community gain access to more diverse and dependable sources of food. Seeds, seed reserves, tools, technical assistance, and income-generation from the sale of crops at market are all resource families who are fighting hunger and poverty--and rebuilding their lives and communities after years of war.
