One
Great Hour of Sharing offering is the American Baptist response to
worldwide emergency disaster relief and development. It is a channel
for national and international aid in times of crisis. Funds are channeled
through International Ministries, National Ministries, Church World Service,
and Baptist World Aid to support people and projects in need. American
Baptists give to the offering in their local churches during the month
of June. Participating churches receive promotional resources in April.
Gifts in response to emergencies or disasters may be given throughout
the year as needs arise.
